Alicia Curran
Alicia received her undergraduate education at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California (BBA 1993, BA 1994), and received her law school education at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, California (JD 1996).
During law school, she was an extern for the Honorable Terry Hatter, United States District Court, Central District. She was admitted to practice law in California in 1997. In 1997, she began working for Cheong & Denove in Century City until 2004, at which time she moved to Florida. She was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2005. While in Florida, she worked for Rumrell, Costabel, Warrington & Brock, LLP.
She is admitted to all state courts in California as well as to the Southern and Central District Courts. She is admitted to all state courts in Florida as well as to the Southern and Middle District Courts.
Her background is in civil litigation including, but not limited to, catastrophic personal injury (medical malpractice, products liability and automobile/trucking accidents), professional malpractice and insurance bad faith. While in Florida, she practiced in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, commercial, corporate, partnership and shareholder disputes, reinsurance, construction defect, property rights and complex general civil litigation.
She is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California and the Consumer Attorney of Los Angeles. While in Florida, she was a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Jacksonville Women’s Law Association and Chief Justice Lewis’ Justice Teaching Program.
